Blake has had a much better day today, he started a skills workshop English task and really enjoyed it.Its called John's Crazy Socks and is about a young entrepreneur. Blake had two tasks to do before reading the article 1) Predict what he was going to read about and 2) find out what words he was about to read meant i.e initiatives, untapped, to garner e.c.t.
Blake's first attempt at writing was poor large messy handwriting so we rubbed it out and explained all work he does will go on the blog and people need to be able to read it. This worked as when he re-wrote the work it was neater than anything I've seen him do for the school he used to attend. Blake then sat and read us the article, his reading is perfect, we followed this by asking him questions to make sure he knew what he'd read. There are more questions and tasks for this and Blake will finish those tomorrow.

 Blake also spent time learning the names of the oceans and were they are on the map, he'll do this everyday and be tested on Friday by labelling a blank map.

Blake planted his own mini pop popcorn today for science and the life cycle of plants.

Blake also had the chance to make a 10 min video for you tube on gaming (roblox), but after editing there was not much of it left so we followed up with creating a list of do's and don'ts i.e don't talk about your sisters online they don't want to be famous. He's going to try again tomorrow as well.
